Work method

Since within Cephas foundation most expertise and experience to take on own projects are not available the foundation’s mission is often the financing and monitoring of projects in the countries listed above.

For that reason an organization or agency in the Southeast Asian country in question and/or in the Netherlands is found that has the knowledge and expertise to take on these projects and implement them.

PROJECTS - APPLICATION PROCESS

The board will look carefully at all requests and then makes a decision. It is also possible that one of the board members travels to the country to observe the local situation as to report to the board in order to reach a balanced opinion whether to invest in the project or not.

PROJECTS - REQUEST

The following projects are eligible for support by Cephas:

• Support to young people who want to serve for a short time in developing countries that are geographically located in Southeast Asia.
• Humanitarian projects in the form of microcredit, but also through small donations.
